Turn Standard Definition Video to Crystal-Clear High Definition Video!
Dee Mon announces SuperResolution plugin for Adobe After Effects and
Adobe Premiere Pro, allowing you to create High Definition video from SD
files using the Super Resolution method. The plugin has proved to be the
most effective video upsizer of its kind.
Things are changing quickly these days. Standards rise along with
requirements. The public demand for a better quality picture resulted in
the beginning of the new era, the era of High Definition. Thus, in order
to make a better impact upon the audience, more and more serious projects
require the use of HD video. Does that mean that all your SD material is
no longer useful? That would be the case without video upsize methods.
Thankfully there exists a variety of them, but until recently some of
these methods were unavailable due to a limited processing power of
casual computers. But now modern PCs are powerful enough to use the most
advanced video upsize methods. Super-Resolution method is one of them.
The method has been researched since 1984 and the name Super Resolution
first appeared in 1990. SuperResolution plugin takes full advantage of
that method to turn Standard Definition video to quality HD.
Super-Resolution method is based on the use of adjacent frames for
enhancing the visual quality of the picture. The plugin fuses together
several images to produce one image with enhanced resolution. There are
similar plugins using the Super-Resolution method. However, experience
has shown that SuperResolution plugin provides the best results in video
upsizing and thus it is the most efficient. Its pre-eminence is shown
through both faster processing speed and better quality of an output
video. Not only does the plugin upsizes resolution but it also carefully
renders all the details. For an in-depth comparison of video upsize
solutions, containing sample video frames upsized by various methods,
please visit
Video upsize methods comparison.
For your convenience, the plugin provides three upsizing modes that
differ in speed and quality. High quality SR gives you the maximum of
what the plugin is capable of - it processes your video so that not a
single detail is missed out. High speed SR allows you to get HD faster
with a slight decrease in quality. The last Lanczos mode is the fastest
one as it uses Lanczos upscaling instead of Super-Resolution and can be
used as a more effective alternative of the bicubic resize method.
SuperResolution plugin is well optimized, so the processing time in each
mode takes as little time as possible. Additionally, the plugin makes the
most of dual core processors.
